With a commitment to innovative construction practices and customer satisfaction, we are expanding our team to include a highly skilled Estimator/Database Administrator/Costing Manager who will play a crucial role in maintaining our standards of excellence.

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated professional to join our team as an Estimator/Database Administrator/Costing Manager. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong affinity for numbers and construction processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate estimation and database management to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency in our home building projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates by analyzing plans and specifications and identifying specific factors that could affect costs.
• Manage and update the construction cost database, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.
• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure estimates are comprehensive and project budgets are adhered to.
• Utilize construction management software such as BuilderMT, ECI Mark Systems, or similar platforms to optimize our home building processes.
• Conduct regular audits of project costs and prepare detailed reports on findings and recommendations.
• Provide technical support and training to team members on the use of construction management software.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an estimator or relevant role within the construction industry.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with construction management software such as BuilderMT or ECI Mark Systems is highly desirable.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to organize and manage large sets of data efficiently.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work independently for prolonged periods.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
• Ability to do detailed plan take-offs utilizing a digital on screen software such as Planswift or Blue Beam
