Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to construct, weld, and assemble a variety of metal components used in our manufactured products. The ideal candidate is quality-focused, safety-minded, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Weld various metals and thicknesses to meet production specifications
- Utilize standard fabrication tools, machinery, and equipment
- Prepare product for the next production step; inspect for cosmetic and functional defects
- Report any material or quality issues promptly
- Follow established SOPs, work instructions, and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Complete required documentation accurately
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- 1-2 years of MIG and/or TIG welding experience with aluminum or stainless steel preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to weld multiple materials and thicknesses
- Ability to set up and adjust welding equipment as required
- Ability to read and interpret a tape measure and perform basic math and decimal-to-fraction conversions
- Able to follow directions and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated; able to complete paperwork accurately
- Prolonged standing required
- Frequent bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
