ROLE SUMMARY
The Marketing and Events Manager is responsible for contributing to and executing integrated marketing strategies and managing company events, both internal and external, that enhance brand awareness, drive customer engagement and support business growth. This role combines tactical marketing planning with hands-on event management to deliver impactful experiences for customers, partners, employees, and other stakeholders. This role works closely with the Director of Marketing to execute tactics as part of strategies to drive brand awareness to include creating marketing materials and maintaining the company's digital platforms, including social media and website.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement marketing plans & tactics aligned with overall marketing strategies and business objectives.
- Coordinate and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital media, company websites and social media platforms, email marketing and traditional marketing tactics such as print advertising and collateral, promotional merchandise, event sponsorships and co-marketing partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote products, services, and company initiatives.
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize activities based on analytics, internal feedback and market insights.
- Manage marketing calendars and ensure timely execution of events, media campaigns and communications.
- Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials and channels.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement and future initiatives.
Event Planning & Management
- Plan, coordinate, and execute company events, including conferences, trade shows, regional events and sponsorships, customer visits, and internal meetings.
- Manage event budgets and vendor relationships and consistently execute timelines, logistics and communications.
- Manage event materials inventory, booth supplies, merchandise and other collateral and update or reorder as needed.
- Coordinate venue selection, contracts, catering, accommodations, off-site team activities and audiovisual requirements.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and report on event performance, ROI, and attendee feedback.
Content & Communications
- Manage and update website content for company websites, track activity and conduct annual website audits.
- Create social media content calendar, recurring content tactics and post content on the company social media platforms; track and analyze social campaigns and content
- Create and oversee marketing collateral, presentations, promotional materials, and event communications.
