Position Summary
Schaefer Plastics is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily production floor operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supporting production employees, maintaining workflow, driving accountability, and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead daily production floor operations to meet safety, quality, and output goals
Provide direction, coaching, and accountability to production employees
Monitor workflow, staffing, and floor activity to keep production on track
Communicate delays, problems, or risks to management promptly
Help coordinate materials and production readiness before jobs begin
Ensure quality standards, work instructions, and operating procedures are followed
Support troubleshooting and problem-solving on the floor as issues arise
Reinforce safety standards, housekeeping expectations, and company policies
Complete and support required production documentation and checks
Partner with leadership and other departments to maintain smooth operations
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
Technical training or experience in an engineering or manufacturing setting preferred
Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, and multitasking skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good math skills
Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
