Summary/ Objective:

This position is responsible for supporting a broad range of warehousing activities, including the delivery, storage, processing, and loading of inventory. While it is a general warehouse associate role, the primary focus of this position will be working in the pipe rack.

Work Shift Hours: Monday-Friday 4 pm- production is completed

Essential Functions:

• Pull and pack orders
• Help Will Call customers
• Unload, receive, and put away stock when needed
• Prepare orders to ship via 3^rd party
• Load trucks
• Ensure inventory accuracy
• Back-up the Wire Services department as needed.

Competencies:

• Basic mathematics skills
• Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy
• Basic computer skills

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position is not a supervisory role and has no direct reports.

Work Environment:

This job most operates within the warehouse setting. Varying temperatures and moving equipment are presented in the warehouse. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

• Ability to understand direction, use logic to solve issues, and adapt well in a fast-paced environment.
• Must communicate professionally and effectively with others.
• Demonstrates safe working habits.

Physical Demands:

• the ability to stand, walk for moderately long distances, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, push/pull) weight up to 50lbs unassisted
• The ability to climb a ladder
• The ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and various warehousing machinery/tools
• Ability to use a keyboard and type proficiently
• Specific vision abilities required by this job may include close vision, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Hours are Monday- Friday: 4 pm- until production is done with lots of overtime.

Education and Experience:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Sitdown or standup forklift experience required
