Role Description The Shipping Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kenosha, WI, responsible for overseeing daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure accurate, timely movement of goods. This role coordinates outbound shipments, monitors incoming deliveries, and manages documentation such as bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping records. The Shipping Manager supervises team members, assigns workloads, and ensures compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and carrier requirements. Daily responsibilities include tracking inventory related to shipping activities, resolving logistics and delivery issues, communicating with internal departments and external customers, and optimizing processes for cost-effective, reliable shipping performance. The role also involves hands-on support in the warehouse as needed, including equipment use, quality checks, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Shipping & Receiving and Shipping operations, including coordinating outbound and inbound freight.
- Proficiency in Inventory Management practices to track, reconcile, and maintain accurate stock levels associated with shipping activities.
- Strong Customer Service skills to communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders and resolve delivery or logistics issues.
- Hands-on capability with Forklift Operation and other material-handling equipment, following all safety guidelines and regulations.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to interpret and use shipping systems, ERP or inventory software, and standard office applications.
- Knowledge of freight documentation, carrier requirements, and basic transportation regulations.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional vocational training or logistics-related education is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Kenosha, WI, including standing, lifting, and working in a warehouse environment as needed.
