Job description
We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic who is passionate about delivering and maintaining a high level of quality repair and preventative maintenance on: CAT, John Deere, Volvo, and Komatsu Construction Equipment. Including but not limited to dozers and wheel loaders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Diagnose and repair
1. Fuel systems (gas & diesel)
2. Brake Systems(hydraulic, powershift, and air)
3. Hydraulic Systems
4. Power Train Systems(wheel & tracks)
5. Undercarriage and Frame Systems (wheels & tracks)
6. Air Systems
7. Electrical Systems (12 & 24 volt)
8. Experience with electronic diagnostic systems such as CAT ET, John Deere Data Link, and other diagnostic software.
Preferred Rebuild Experience
1. Rebuild large and small-bore engines (gas & diesel)
2. Transmissions
3. Final drives & differentials
4. Pumps and Motors
5. Tracks
QUALIFICATIONS: Valid driver’s license required, must be able to pass a Drug / alcohol test and a physical. 3 or more years of heavy equipment maintenance experience.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent GED
