Job Overview:
The primary purpose of the Staff Accountant is to assist the Controller with month end close and account reconciliations. This position will analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain a record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within the organization
Duties and Responsibilitie
s· Assist with monthly closing activities to ensure that financial statements and general ledgers are closed timely and accuratel
y· Prepare & review various month end journal entries & reconciliations in accordance with policies and timeline
s· Review of Accounts Payable vouchers for proper submittal of payment
s· Assist with preparation of monthly & quarterly reporting packages and various operational analytic
s· Assist with performance of various SOX compliance procedure
s· Support internal and external audits as neede
