Kafka Tester (QA)
Location - Dallas, TX (Multiple locations)
Duration - 8 months
Roles and Responsibilities:
Kafka Tester - Strong understanding of Kafka concepts, including topics, partitions, consumers, producers, and security.
- Hands-on required on Oracle and Mongo
- able to write queries based on mapping logic
- Must have Message testing experience (JSON, Avro, Kafka etc).
- Strong in Kafka client configuration and troubleshooting Kafka issues
- Experience in continuous integration and automated testing.
- Able to verify the integrity of data flowing through Kafka, including data serialization/deserialization, and data validation.
- Design, Develop and execute test plans and scenarios to verify Kafka functionality, including data production, consumption, and message processing.
- Working knowledge and experience of Postman, Git.
- Agile ceremonies, X-ray and Jira/Confluence experience
- Design, develop and execute test cases for API's using Postman and Swagger
- Validate JSON responses with proper response codes, performance and error handling
- Perform both manual and automated testing of APIs
- Strong hands-on required on SQL, Oracle and Mongo
