Duties
- Supervise children in the Kid Zone area, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times, aged 8 months- 8 years
- Facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, creativity, and social skills
- Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and cooperation among children
- Assist with toddler care, infant care, and classroom activities tailored to various age groups including preschoolers
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by providing inclusive care and accommodations as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Kid Zone space, including toys and activity materials
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's daily experiences and any concerns that arise
- Maintain a clean environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying is highly desirable
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones
- Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure immediate response in emergencies
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Strong classroom experience or childcare background demonstrating patience, creativity, and behavior management skills
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism

Hours will be: Tuesdays and Thursdays 4pm-7pm, Saturdays 9am-12pm. Option to cross train as a Building Monitor for a pay increase, hours are: Saturdays 9am-5pm
