What are the responsibilities and job description for the Children's Programmer for Public Library position at Scenic Regional Library?
Scenic Regional Library is seeking qualified candidates to fill a Full-Time Children’s Programmer position in our Union branch. This position is responsible for planning, presenting programs and activities for diverse age groups, to encourage reading and stimulate use of the library including weekly Story time, Summer Reading Program, outreach programs, and special events. The Children’s Programmer also works at the service desk assisting patrons in finding materials, answering reference questions, assisting patrons with technology-related questions, and other general clerical duties. The work schedule is Tuesday-Saturday including two evenings.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma, good computer skills, and customer service experience. This position requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. For an application and complete job description visit www.scenicregional.org/employment.
