What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activities Assistant (2725) position at Scenic Living Communities?
Overview: The Activities Assistant is responsible in assisting with the activities program at Scenic Living Communities. Has the ability to communicate effectively and advocate for resident centered care. This is a part-time position offering 20 hours per week.
Duties and Responsibilities: Duties are determined by Scenic Living Communities’ needs and may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Follows and upholds Scenic Living Communities’ philosophy and goal to maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident’s quality of care and quality of life
- Promotes positive public relations with residents, family members and guests
- Assist with in-house activities, community events and entertainment programs that are of interest to the campus resident population
- Assist with preparing monthly activity calendar
- Ability to direct and supervise volunteers
- Provide transportation to and from scheduled community activities and supervise resident outings
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Must possess a valid drivers license, class D driver's license and have a good driving record.
