Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, weeding, mulching, and planting to maintain healthy, attractive landscapes.
- Operate string trimmers, hedge trimmers, backpack blowers, and commercial mowers safely and efficiently
- Assist with tree and shrub care, including trimming, pruning, planting, and debris removal.
- Help with lawn care services including aeration, fertilization, sod installation, and seasonal cleanups.
- Contribute to hardscape projects by preparing sites, laying pavers or stones, and maintaining pathways or patios
- Load, unload, and transport landscaping materials, equipment, plants, mulch, and debris to and from job sites
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance
- Follow safety protocols at all times while working with landscaping equipment and materials
- Work efficiently as part of a team while maintaining a professional attitude and providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment preferred.
- Previous experience in landscaping, lawn maintenance, groundskeeping, construction, tree care, or other outdoor labor is preferred.
- Knowledge of proper landscaping techniques, plant care, and horticulture is a plus.
- Ability to safely operate commercial landscaping equipment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in Florida’s heat, humidity.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending, lifting, kneeling, and standing throughout the workday.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
