Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals according to approved menus and dietary guidelines
- Following recipes, portion controls, and food safety standards
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in food preparation areas
- Assisting with inventory and food storage procedures
- Working closely with the Dietary Manager and clinical team to meet resident dietary needs
Dietary Aide
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with meal preparation and tray assembly
- Delivering and collecting meal trays
- Serving residents in the dining room
- Washing dishes and maintaining a clean kitchen environment
- Following infection control and sanitation procedures
Qualifications
- Previous dietary, food service, or healthcare experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable attendance and teamwork skills
- Commitment to providing excellent service to residents
