Key Responsibilities
Patient Experience & Front Office Operations
- Welcome patients with warmth, professionalism, and discretion in a clinical environment
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and patient flow efficiently
- Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for patient questions regarding services, policies, and next steps
- Maintain a calm, polished demeanor while multitasking in a fast-paced setting
Insurance Verification & Billing Support
- Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, referrals, and authorizations before appointments
- Clearly communicate coverage, estimates, and financial responsibility to patients
- Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances at the time of service
- Assist with billing inquiries, claim follow-up, and payment posting
- Collaborate with providers to ensure accurate documentation and claims submission
Patient Intake & Documentation
- Complete patient registration and intake, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Maintain electronic medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Obtain and scan required forms, consents, and insurance documentation
Practice Coordination
- Support daily front office operations and assist with administrative tasks
- Communicate effectively with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient care transitions
- Uphold practice standards, policies, and brand presentation
