Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscape and Hardscape Laborer to join our dynamic outdoor construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in transforming outdoor spaces by assisting with landscape installation, hardscape construction, and various building projects. Duties
- Assist with the installation of hardscape elements such as patios, retaining walls, walkways, and decorative stonework using hand tools and power tools.
- Support landscape projects by planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing irrigation systems in accordance with project plans.
- Operate heavy equipment including skid steers, mini excavators, and other machinery safely and efficiently for site preparation and material handling.
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of landscape and hardscape features.
- Prepare sites by grading, leveling, and compacting soil; perform concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work as needed.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working outdoors on various construction projects to maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist with the fabrication and installation of building materials such as doors, windows, cabinetry, or roofing components when required for restoration or remodeling projects.
- Support other team members with carpentry tasks including trim carpentry, framing, door hanging, or drywall installation to ensure project completion.
- Maintain a clean worksite by organizing tools and materials; perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper operation.
Experience
- Prior construction experience in outdoor environments is highly preferred; familiarity with construction projects is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and preferably heavy equipment operation.
- Preferably experience driving trucks and trailers
