Overview
ScaVet Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to provide on-site project and construction management support for Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) infrastructure upgrades at the Castle Point VA Medical Center in Wappingers Falls, New York.
The Project Manager will serve as the Task Order Site Lead and will oversee project coordination, scheduling, cost control, construction oversight, quality assurance, documentation, inspections, and coordination with project stakeholders. The position will support construction activities throughout the Castle Point campus and ensure projects are completed in accordance with applicable contract requirements, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Duties
- Serve as Task Order Site Lead and oversee contract personnel assigned to the project.
- Provide overall project and construction management support.
- Monitor construction schedules, project milestones, and overall progress.
- Identify schedule delays and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor project financial information, budgets, obligations, and planned expenditures.
- Assist with change orders, cost estimates, and contractor cost proposal reviews.
- Conduct and participate in project progress meetings.
- Maintain daily progress reports, inspection reports, and project documentation.
- Review RFIs, construction submittals, plans, specifications, and other project documentation.
- Perform and coordinate construction site inspections and quality assurance activities.
- Identify work that does not conform to project requirements and assist with corrective actions.
- Support testing, inspection, and commissioning activities.
- Assist with construction issue resolution and claims analysis when required.
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, VA personnel, and other project stakeholders.
- Utilize Autodesk Build / Autodesk Construction Cloud for required project documentation and communications.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience managing facility construction projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture from an accredited university OR 10 years of directly related experience in lieu of the education requirement.
- Experience with construction scheduling, cost management, program budgeting, and overall project management.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, specifications, and related documents.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multidisciplinary construction teams and project stakeholders.
- Ability to work full-time on-site at the Castle Point VA Medical Center in Wappingers Falls, NY.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous VA, federal government, healthcare, or complex facility construction experience.
- Experience with construction quality assurance and field inspections.
- Experience reviewing RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, and contractor cost proposals.
- Experience with Autodesk Build / Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
