Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Surgery Center Administrator to join our team. In this critical role, you will manage the check-in process for patients, ensure accurate charting, and provide general administrative support for the surgery center. You will play an essential part in ensuring the smooth operation of the center while delivering excellent service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and complete the check-in process with efficiency and care.
• Accurately input and update patient information into the system.
• Prepare and maintain patient charts prior to surgery.
• Assist with verification of insurance information and consent forms.
• Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and coordinating patient flow.
• Ensure a clean, welcoming, and organized environment for patients.
• Work collaboratively with the medical and surgical teams to ensure patient readiness and satisfaction.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred).
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an administrative or patient-facing role.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work early morning shifts with flexibility.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
