We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a background in surgery centers to provide high-quality care to our patients throughout their surgical journey. As part of our growing team, you’ll work alongside skilled surgeons and healthcare professionals, making a lasting impact on the lives of individuals undergoing reconstructive procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-operative Care: Assess and prepare patients for reconstructive surgeries, ensuring they are comfortable and informed.
- Intra-operative Support: Assist surgeons during surgical procedures, providing critical nursing support and ensuring a sterile environment.
- Post-operative Care: Monitor and manage patients’ recovery post-surgery, including pain management, wound care, and patient education.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, recovery expectations, and post-operative care.
- Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care, ensuring the smooth operation of the surgical center.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate medical records, ensuring all procedures comply with healthcare regulations and standards of practice.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in CA.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of nursing experience, preferably in a surgery center or related clinical environment.
- Familiarity with surgical procedures, particularly in reconstructive surgery, is highly desirable.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
