Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean work environment by picking up trash, excess building materials, or other potentially hazardous products
- Provide assistance to onsite tradespeople such as sub crews, and carpenters
- Preform daily job tasks efficiently
- Transport materials and equipment from one location to another
- Operate power tools and/or industrial equipment
- Set up cones, warning signs, and any other necessary material to increase visibility
- Construct, transfer, and tear down temporary structures such as scaffolding
- Other manual labor tasks as required by the foreman or supervisor
- Report any unsafe conditions or equipment in need of repair
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, digging, and standing for long periods
- NYS License and transportation to job sites.
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- AT LEAST 1 year experience on a construction crew
- Knowledge of how to use a metal break and how to coil windows/doors
- Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
- Knowledge of power tools and industrial machinery is preferred
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Additional certifications or apprenticeship experience is preferred but not necessary
Salary : $16 - $40
