Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty drinks, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and maintain cleanliness to ensure a safe and inviting environment.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for order processing, billing, and cash handling.
- Uphold food safety standards and proper food handling procedures during beverage preparation and serving.
- Develop new beverage recipes or variations to enhance the menu offerings based on guest preferences and current trends.
- Collaborate with the bar management team to oversee bar operations during shifts, including serving at banquets or catering events when needed.
- Maintain compliance with all health regulations related to alcohol service and food safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or upscale hospitality environments preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of beverage recipes, craft beer, wine varieties, brewing techniques, and cocktail mixing skills.
- Familiarity with TOAST POS
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during busy periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism.
- Experience in food industry settings including banquet or catering service is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order totals.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures relevant to beverage service.
