Plumbing Laborer / Apprentice
Scarpignato Plumbing & Heating is seeking a dependable and motivated individual to join our growing team as a Plumbing Laborer/Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to develop a long-term career in the plumbing and underground utility industry.
In this role, you will work alongside our experienced underground crew on sewer line replacements, trenchless pipe bursting, water service replacements, excavation, job-site preparation, and property restoration. You will also assist our plumbers with interior plumbing installations and repairs, giving you the opportunity to learn both underground and residential plumbing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with sewer and water service replacements
- Support trenchless pipe-bursting and excavation projects
- Prepare job sites, tools, materials, and equipment
- Assist plumbers with interior plumbing installations and repairs
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Follow company safety procedures and crew instructions
- Help load, unload, and properly care for tools and equipment
Ideal Candidate:
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to work
- Interested in learning the plumbing trade
- Comfortable performing physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Able to safely use hand and power tools
- Works well as part of a team
- Construction, excavation, landscaping, or plumbing experience is preferred but not required
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Pay: $22.50 - $27.50 per hour
