DESCRIPTION:
Prepare, serve and display A La Carte Asian style food items in a manner that exceed customer expectations and department standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment and follow all production and storage guidelines and procedures, ensure recipes have been followed and orders delivered in a timely manner. Implement all OSHA, ServSafe and HACCP standards
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Minimum two (2) years related experience and/or culinary training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with Asian cooking styles and techniques.
Must be able to utilize all Wok Station equipment and other kitchen equipment.
Assist with Sushi station as needed.
Must have knowledge of quality food, food preparation, food preservation, as well as a positive attitude in training and working with others.
Knowledge of all kitchen equipment and knives.
Ensure the functionality, safety and proper use of all kitchen equipment.
Knowledgeable of sanitation practices to ensure standards and regulations have been followed.
Advanced knowledge of weights, measures, and missing techniques and ability to follow production sheets and recipes.
Must be able to use oral, written and reading communication skills of the English language.
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to stand and walk continuously throughout shift.
Must be able to stoop, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear.
Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Other physical requirements include but are not necessarily limited to reaching, grasping, and pounding, stretching, and kneeling
Must be able to work in close quarters or small rooms; occasionally exposed to hot, cold, wet and/or humid conditions.
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
