SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The Rooms Inspector is responsible for inspecting the guestrooms and public areas to ensure that they meet standards of cleanliness. This includes, communicating needs or errors to Housekeeping staff.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Familiar with inventory management, housekeeping practices, and standards.
Must be detail oriented with good record keeping and organizational skills.
Knowledgeable about proper housekeeping techniques, and handling of chemicals.
Must have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to assume a role of authority as necessary; set an example for coworkers; observing work and providing constructive feedback to others.
Must be able to perform all duties of a Guest Room Attendant, including but not limited to: vacuuming, changing linens, sweeping, mopping, dusting, etc.
Proficient in MS Office, Excel and Outlook.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined areas.
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.

Must be available to work Swing Shift Hours.
