Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly at the counter, take orders accurately using POS systems and process transactions efficiently with cash handling skills.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, including assembling ingredients, portioning, and basic food prep tasks.
- Cook menu items swiftly while maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced environment typical of quick service and fast food restaurants.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation protocols.
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to handle multiple orders simultaneously without compromising service quality.
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to sell menu items confidently.
- Proven experience in food preparation, kitchen work, or food service roles within restaurants or cafés preferred, not required.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in food safety and cleanliness.
- Experience with serving in quick service settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
