Outside Sales Representative

We are seeking a Regional  Sales Representative who values honesty and integrity above quick commissions. This is a relationship-driven sales role built on transparency, dependable service, and trust.

We do not tolerate misleading pricing, hidden fees, or high-pressure tactics. We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing business the right way and wants to build a strong, repeat customer base through long-term relationships rather than one-time sales.

Job Description

Scapers is a rapidly growing company in the waste removal industry, specializing in the rental of open-top roll-off dumpster containers. Our mission is to help move this industry into a new era by delivering top-notch customer service while maintaining an outstanding work environment for our employees.

We are looking for a full-time Outside Sales Representative who will help us continue to grow. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a strong growth mindset who is eager to go into the market and show customers why we are the best. After training, this position offers a high level of freedom and independence, with the expectation that the candidate will manage their time effectively and handle communication between customers and dispatch. We have an extremely dedicated team with very low turnover, and we are looking to add another long-term team member who will play a key role in our continued growth.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

· Proven sales experience (outside sales preferred; construction or service industry is a strong plus)

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Preferred (but not required):

· Experience working with contractors, construction, roofing, or home services

· Existing relationships within the local market

· Experience managing accounts and developing repeat business

Important Note:

This role requires a high level of accountability, professionalism, and consistency. It is not suited for individuals who rely on pressure tactics or are looking for quick wins.

We are looking for someone who understands that strong follow-up, trust, and genuine relationships—not aggressive sales tactics—are what drive long-term success.

 

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary:
$75,000 per year

Commission Structure (paid monthly):

  • $0 – $500,000 in annual sales: 2% of gross sales
  • $500,001 – $1,000,000: 2.5% of gross sales
  • $1,000,000 and above: 3% of gross sales

This compensation plan is designed to reward consistent performance and long-term customer relationships.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO):
    • After 1 year: 10 days
    • After 5 years: 15 days
    • After 8 years: 20 days

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Work Location: Must be able to commute reliably or relocate prior to starting work.

Responsibilities

· Prospect and develop new clients through all appropriate channels.

· Travel regularly to customer locations and prospective client sites.

· Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with new and existing accounts.

· Provide accurate, upfront pricing and help customers determine the right solutions for their needs.

· Visit customer job sites to understand project requirements and strengthen relationships.

· Maintain accurate records of leads, customer accounts, and sales activity.

· Process all new orders and ensure details are communicated clearly and accurately.

· Coordinate and communicate effectively between customers and dispatch.

· Represent the company and brand in a professional and positive manner at all times.

· Assist with customer questions, concerns, and problem resolution.

· Ensure customers receive the right solution for their project needs.

· Participate in community events, charity functions, and local organizations to promote the brand.

· Attend weekly and monthly sales meetings and contribute to team growth.

· Meet and consistently work to exceed sales targets.

· Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activity, and service standards.

· Help introduce, sell, and manage new lines of revenue and services as the company grows.
