Position Summary:
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of our dry cleaning business. You will interact directly with customers, ensuring they have a positive experience from drop-off to pick-up. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting customers, handling transactions, addressing inquiries and concerns, and maintaining an organized and efficient front counter area. This position has a work schedule of Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri/Sat, with Wednesdays and Sundays off. Saturdays are non-negotiable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers as they enter the store.
- Handle drop-off and pick-up of garments, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Provide detailed information about our services, pricing, and promotions.
- Process payments and manage cash register operations.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized front counter and reception area.
- Coordinate with the cleaning team to ensure customer orders are completed on time.
- Keep records of customer orders and update the system with relevant information.
- Promote additional services and loyalty programs to customers.
- Perform opening and closing duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic computer skills for order processing and record keeping.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
