What Your Day Will Look Like
- Support the development and execution of business strategies that drive brand growth and financial performance.
- Assist in setting performance expectations and objectives for retail sales associates.
- Coach and educate team members on company goals, customer service standards, visual merchandising requirements, and product knowledge.
- Oversee daily retail operations and ensure store routines are executed efficiently.
- Partner with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets and profitability goals.
- Monitor store expenses and support adherence to budget objectives.
- Create and manage employee schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Track store performance metrics and drive accountability for results.
- Execute and oversee all store operational activities to ensure high standards are maintained.
- Motivate and engage team members to achieve their personal and professional goals.
- Manage labor hours in alignment with established wage and staffing targets.
- Assign and monitor daily operational responsibilities and deployment positions.
- Ensure store systems and facility equipment are functioning properly, including lighting, HVAC, humidification, water treatment, plumbing, alarm, and surveillance systems.
- Serve as a brand ambassador by delivering exceptional customer experience and maintaining a professional retail environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to input, retrieve, analyze, and interpret data.
- Hands-on approach with a commitment to operational excellence.
- Proven ability to coordinate and support retail operations.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Experience leading teams, coaching employees, and driving performance in a retail environment.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Experience within premium retail, luxury goods, specialty products, or similar customer-focused environments.
- General knowledge of cigars and the cigar industry preferred but not required.
