Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate roofing crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards
- Interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide installation processes
- Enforce construction safety regulations, including proper use of safety harnesses and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Manage materials and tools such as hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and fabrication equipment to optimize workflow
- Oversee the installation of roofing systems, coping, gravel stop, and all detail work
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to construction plans and specifications
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to interpret technical details and resolve on-site challenges promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial roofing, roofing systems such as TPO, EPDM, and PVC
- Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans
- Knowledge of construction safety harnesses and adherence to workplace safety regulations is essential
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, leisters, and other roofing equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and manage physical demands of the job effectively
