Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Milpitas, CA, for a Hardware Design Engineer. The role involves board design and debug for NVME, CXL modules. Candidate should have deep understanding of the high layer count 10 layer PCB layout, including schematics, SI and power delivery design for high speed PCBs. The engineer role will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality designs for silicon testing and production quality modules. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting, testing, and refining designs to meet performance requirements.
Qualifications
- Schematics capture on OrCAD or similar tool
- High speed, multi layer PCB layout
- Knowledge of SI and PI for high speed designs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with hardware testing tools oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers
- Experience in PCIE gen5 or similar high speed serial links and DDDR4/5, NAND interface is highly desired
- Knowledge of storage systems and data infrastructure is a plus
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site, team-oriented environment
