Associate, TikTok Live & Community Ops
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Regularly on-site in Studio (Encino, CA); some remote flexibility)
About the Role
We’re looking for an Associate, TikTok Live & Community Ops to play a critical role in the growth of our TikTok Shop presence. This role is 70% focused on livestream execution and 30% focused on administrative and community support for our broader TikTok commerce program.
You’ll be the hands-on operator who ensures livestreams run smoothly — managing hosts, driving daily execution, and adapting quickly in a fast-moving environment. At the same time, you’ll support the team by maintaining operational systems, coordinating creator deliverables, and preparing reporting for leadership.
This position is best suited for someone who thrives in both operations and creative environments: you’ll need the organizational skills to manage calendars and compliance, the critical thinking skills to problem-solve live on set, and the creativity to coach hosts and help shape engaging livestream experiences.
Key Responsibilities Livestream Operations
- Casting & Talent Management: Source, vet, and onboard new livestream hosts. Support host development, provide coaching feedback, and guide advancement through performance tiers
- Scheduling & Coordination: Own the livestream calendar; assign hosts by product tier and availability; prepare weekly run-of-show details and talking points.
- On-Site Execution: Oversee daily live sessions to ensure smooth execution, supporting hosts and production assistants, and escalating major issues to leadership when needed.
- Content & Messaging: Develop and distribute claim-safe talk tracks, bundle sheets, and compliance-aligned messaging for hosts
- Performance Tracking: Collect daily livestream metrics (conversion, viewer retention, SKU velocity) and compile highlight clips for use in paid and organic content
- Payroll & Timekeeping: Track host/PA hours, reconcile invoices, and submit payment approvals
Admin & Community Support
- Operational Support: Maintain trackers, dashboards, and reporting tools to support the broader TikTok Shop team.
- Creator Coordination: Support internal coordination with TikTok creators and affiliates, including affiliate community activities, deliverable tracking, and campaign readiness tasks
- Compliance & Approvals: Route briefs through legal/compliance processes and maintain accurate documentation
- Reporting: Compile weekly operational scorecards with insights and recommendations for leadership
- General Admin: Support cross-functional scheduling, project coordination, meeting prep, and other administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in live commerce, livestream production, event operations, or digital content execution (strong preference for direct TikTok or social commerce experience).
- Strong operational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and pivot quickly.
- Experience working directly with talent/hosts — comfortable coaching, giving feedback, and maintaining accountability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to coordinate across hosts, assistants, internal teams, and leadership.
- Highly resourceful and proactive; able to problem-solve in real time during livestreams.
- Familiarity with TikTok Shop, social commerce trends, and influencer/affiliate ecosystems.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-change environment: can plan ahead but adapt at the drop of a hat

Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
