Digital Strategy & Activation Manager

Scale Marketing is growing! We’re seeking a Digital Strategy & Activation Manager to join our expanding Digital team and play a key leadership role in shaping innovative media strategies that drive outstanding client success. Reporting directly to the Group Media Director, this role combines strategic vision, analytical expertise, and a passion for digital innovation.
We’re looking for a solution-oriented leader and collaborative team player with a proven track record of delivering results, guiding teams, and providing impactful thought leadership in the ever-evolving digital landscape.
What You’ll Do
Solution-Oriented Leadership
- Lead the development and execution of advanced digital media plans aligned with client business goals.
- Analyze platform-specific KPIs to ensure campaign effectiveness, identify opportunities, and provide actionable insights.
- Interpret large, complex datasets to uncover trends and drive campaign performance.
- Anticipate challenges and proactively develop innovative solutions.
- Champion testing strategies to enhance client media buys.
Strategic Thinking & Client Partnership
- Serve as a trusted advisor, educating clients on digital strategy, execution, and measurement.
- Stay ahead of industry shifts across programmatic, paid social, paid search, CTV, DOOH, and emerging channels.
- Present innovative growth opportunities, platform betas, and POVs that influence client strategy.
- Act as SME for programmatic and social media platforms, guiding both clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate with Strategists to deliver strong, integrated digital media plans.
What We’re Looking For
- 4 years of progressive digital media experience (agency experience preferred).
- Proven success leading complex programmatic and paid social campaigns.
- Strong business acumen and comfort engaging with C-level clients.
- Certifications and expertise in social platforms, DSPs, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Facebook Blueprint.
- Experience with integrated/mixed-media strategies; traditional media buying a plus.
- Advanced analytical skills; proficiency in Excel and BI tools.
- Strong communicator with the ability to translate complex digital concepts to varied audiences.
- Collaborative leader with mentoring experience preferred.
