Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Philadelphia, PA/ Piscataway, NJ (Onsite)
Duration: Long term on W2
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional specifications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear stakeholder management and communication across all project phases.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation including:
- Business Requirements Documents (BRD)
- Functional Requirements Documents (FRD)
- User Stories and acceptance criteria
- Work closely with IT teams to support development and ensure requirements are clearly understood.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements aligned with business goals.
- Support testing activities including UAT by validating delivered solutions against requirements.
- Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Strong expertise in:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects
- Requirements Gathering
- Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Documentation (BRD, FRD, User Stories)
- Hands-on experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Ability to translate business needs into clear, concise functional requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in real estate, construction, or homebuilding domain (preferred for Toll Brothers projects)
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile tools
- Experience in process modeling and workflow documentation
