Emerald Bay Assisted Living is a beautiful Residential Care Apartment Complex (RCAC). Most of our residents are very independent, but we also offer higher levels of care for those who need it. We pride ourselves in offering our residents quality care, a clean and safe environment, and fun activities to do.
Position Overview
We are looking for a kind and compassionate Med Passer / Caregivers to join our team. A Medication Administration Certificate is preferred but not required - WE WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT PERSON.

Job Responsibilities Include (May Vary Per Shift)
- Promptly answer call lights
- ADL'S (Activities of Daily Living) including toileting, changing briefs, bathing, dressing, grooming, room tidies, and offering companionship
- Assist residents with transfers
- Basic wound care
- Accurately administer and document medications passed when scheduled
- Communicate and document all resident issues and concerns with staff
- Stay updated with resident care plans
- Keep med cart stocked, clean, and tidy
- Assist residents to and from activities and meals
- Help in the dining room clearing, setting, and serving meals
Job Qualifications Include
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must have a valid State of Wisconsin driver's license
- Must be dependable and on time for your shift
- Must have (or acquire while working here) a Medication Administration Certificate
- Must be able to communicate well with residents, staff, families, and providers
- Must be able to work well independently and as a team player
- Must be able to lift/push/pull a minimum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, and bend at the waist
- Must be able to stand on your feet for extended periods of time
- Must have reliable transportation
Doubles Shifts / $21 per hour
- 6am - 10pm
- Every Other Weekend and One Day During the Week
On-Call Shifts / $20 per hour
- 6am - 2pm OR 2pm - 10pm
- Called When Needed
