About Us

We are a non-traditional practice in how we programmatically support young people and their families. Our support is focused on not only the individual young person, but also their caregivers and the systems/environments that hold them. We work from a trauma-informed, relational, and collaborative problem solving approach. We are a multidisciplinary practice dedicated to understanding the root causes of challenges in emotional regulation, sensorial, emotional health, learning, language and behavior as a way of communication. Our team supports children, adolescents, and young adults with complex emotional presentations, anxiety, mood challenges, behavioral dysregulation, and family-system stressors.

We work closely with families, school teams, and other providers to ensure integrated, consistent care across settings.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHC, LICSW, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, or equivalent) to join our team.

The ideal clinician:

  • Has experience supporting complex clinical presentations
  • Collaborates well within a multi-disciplinary approach
  • Is thoughtful and flexible about how treatment is delivered and executed
  • Enjoys integrating care across home, school, and community contexts

A strong preference is given to clinicians with prior school-based experience (direct services, consultation, or collaboration with educators).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and/or family therapy using evidence-informed, trauma-sensitive and developmentally appropriate approaches.
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments and develop thoughtful, individualized treatment plans.
  • Support clients with emotional regulation, anxiety, mood challenges, trauma histories, behavioral concerns, and family-system dynamics.
  • Offer parent/caregiver guidance to strengthen insight, connection, and follow-through at home.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including OTs, parent coaches, educational consultants, speech and language pathologists and other mental health providers.
  • Communicate and coordinate care with school teams, teachers, counselors, and related providers as needed.
  • Maintain clear, timely, professional documentation aligned with ethical and legal standards.
  • Participate in case consultation, reflective supervision, and ongoing professional development within our collaborative and innovative team culture.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in mental health counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a related field.
  • Active MA state license: LMHC, LICSW, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-graduate clinical experience (experience with complex trauma preferred).
  • Familiarity with evidence-based interventions (e.g., TF-CBT, EMDR, DBT skills, ARC, ACT, IFS-informed, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working in an integrated, collaborative practice.
  • Ability to work independently while staying connected to a team.
  • School-based AND clinical experience is strongly preferred (direct services, consultation, or systems collaboration).

  • Trauma-informed and mind-body approaches
  • CBT, DBT-informed, ACT, or IFS-informed work
  • Parent coaching or family-systems frameworks
  • Somatic or regulation-based interventions
  • Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS/Think:Kids)
  • Play-based treatment models

Compensation & Schedule

This is a 1099 contractor role with competitive compensation based on experience.Flexible scheduling.
