We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Senior Content Specialist with a strong focus on social media strategy, execution, and content development. Based in our Gainesville, FL office, this role is ideal for a professional who excels in crafting engaging digital content, optimizing brand voice, and ensuring quality and consistency across platforms. You will collaborate closely with our marketing and creative teams to lead campaigns that drive measurable impact across a range of industries.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Development

• Develop and execute comprehensive social media content strategies tailored to client goals. Plan and produce engaging posts, campaigns, and storytelling assets optimized for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and emerging platforms.

• Editorial Oversight & Proofing

Ensure all content meets brand, voice, and quality standards through rigorous editing and proofreading. Maintain accuracy, tone consistency, and clarity across all digital materials.

• Social Media Management

Oversee scheduling, posting, and monitoring across multiple channels. Analyze performance metrics to refine content strategies, enhance engagement, and inform future campaigns.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with designers, videographers, and marketing managers to translate ideas into compelling multimedia content. Ensure alignment between visual and written storytelling.

• Content Optimization & SEO Alignment

Incorporate keyword research and analytics into copy to maximize reach and visibility. Write captions, headlines, and long-form content that balance creativity with performance.

Project Leadership

• Manage timelines and deliverables for multiple accounts simultaneously. Take ownership of campaign rollout, reporting, and revisions to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality.

Trend Analysis & Innovation

• Stay informed of digital trends, algorithm shifts, and emerging best practices. Identify opportunities to strengthen brand presence through new formats and technologies.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Professional Experience: 3 years in content marketing, social media management, or digital communications. Agency experience strongly preferred.
• Exceptional proofing accuracy, attention to detail, and content consistency across formats and clients. Demonstrated ability to maintain editorial excellence in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with social media management platforms (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Sprout, etc.), analytics tools, and project management systems (Asana, Trello, Monday). Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is a plus.
• Outstanding written communication skills with versatility across short-form and long-form digital content. Ability to adapt tone and style to diverse industries.
• Strong project management and prioritization skills. Comfortable leading content workflows and collaborating with creative and strategy teams.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,437.00 per year
