Shipping Technician

Summary:

The Shipping Technician is responsible for the picking and shipping of scheduled shipments to support our customers’ needs. You will be required to ensure inventory is accurate and restocked daily along with shipping supplies. You will be responsibility for keeping a clean, safe work environment up to cGMP standards. Shipping technicians work in a clean and quite environment with set work schedules and limited Saturday requirements.

Essential functions:

• Pick and verify shipments for customer orders
• Box and ship customer orders
• Stock and keep accurate inventories daily
• Verify accuracy and completeness of shipping paperwork
• Work with and backup warehouse personnel
• Other job duties as assigned
  
  
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a shipping environment is preferred
  
  
  

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Must be able to lift min 50lbs
• Must be able to lift 30lbs repeatedly
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization
• Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practices
• Knowledge and understanding of cGMP standards are a plus
