Production Control Planner
SummarySupport the Production Control Manager in production scheduling, inventory management, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and timely operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Planning & Operations
- Assist in developing and executing production plans and schedules to meet customer demand
- Create and manage work orders based on material availability and production processes
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of work orders, materials usage, and production progress using the ERP system
- Review and analyze warehouse inventory daily and monthly to maintain optimal stock levels
- Coordinate with Korea headquarters to prevent inventory shortages or excesses
- Assist with month-end inventory closing and reporting to headquarters
- Generate reports on production, inventory, and performance metrics
- Support downtime data recording and corrective action implementation to improve OEE
Training Provided
- Production control planning, ERP systems, new hire orientation, OSHA compliance, and forklift operation
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Korean preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of supply chain processes
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Ability to multitask and collaborate effectively in a team environment
- SAP/ERP experience preferred
- Manufacturing environment experience preferred
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Production Management, Computer Science, or related field
- 0–1 years of relevant experience preferred
