Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse - Dry Creek Surgery Center

About Us:

Dry Creek Surgery Center is a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center (ASC) located in the heart of the Denver Tech Center. We feature 2 operating rooms, serving a wide range of surgical specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, urology, plastic surgery, ENT, podiatry, and robotic-assisted procedures.

Our facility operates in a fast-paced, safety- and quality-centered environment with a strong focus on both employee and patient satisfaction. We value work-life balance and maintain a culture that supports our staff while delivering outstanding care to every patient.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pre-Op/PACU RN who:

• Is a true team player and communicates effectively
• Demonstrates strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced outpatient setting
• Is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, compassionate care to patients in the pre-operative and post-anesthesia care unit
• Conduct pre-op assessments and ensure readiness for surgery
• Monitor patients during recovery and manage pain and post-op needs
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other team members
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition
  
  

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Colorado (required)
• ACLS and BLS certifications(required)
• Minimum **2 years PACU experience** preferred
• ICU or ER experience also acceptable
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing standards and practices
