Insight Surgery Center is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our high-performing ambulatory surgery team. This role provides safe, patient-centered care before and after surgical procedures in a fast‑paced, supportive environment.
What You’ll Do
- Complete comprehensive pre‑op and post‑op assessments (cardiac, respiratory, neuro, pain, hemodynamics).
- Monitor patients and interpret data from clinical equipment.
- Provide safe recovery care for general, MAC, regional, and local anesthesia.
- Use standardized scoring systems (Aldrete, PADSS, etc.) for recovery and discharge.
- Educate patients and families on post-op expectations, pain management, and home care.
- Communicate effectively and provide accurate clinical handoffs.
- Maintain patient safety, prevent infection, and advocate for patient rights.
- Document care accurately and collaborate with the care team.
- Participate in quality improvement, training, and daily safety huddles.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- 1 year of Operating Room experience required
- Current, active state RN licensure in good standing
- BLS/BCLS certification required (or obtained within 90 days of hire)
- ACLS certification required (or obtained within 90 days of hire)
- PALS certification required if pediatric patients are part of the facility’s scope of care (or obtained within 90 days of hire)
Salary : $45 - $52
