Responsibilities
Presidio Surgery Center is an ambulatory surgery facility which has been providing high quality care to patients in San Francisco since 1989. In 2024 we have expanded to include 2 additional, state of the art operating rooms on the 5th floor at 1635 Divisadero to compliment our 5 operating rooms on the 2nd floor. We are the first facility in California to receive the Advanced Certification in Hip and Knee Replacement. This certification is recognized nationwide as a symbol of the highest standard in quality and reflects our commitment to meeting the highest of standards in performance. Presidio Surgery Center is Accredited by the Joint Commission, affiliated with California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) and managed by SCA Health. We have world class surgeons performing cutting edge surgery, utilizing state of the art technology.
The Nurse Manager is responsible for the overall functioning of the Nursing Department. As a Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse is responsible for assisting with the achievement of patient outcomes through implementation of critical pathways and in accordance with the mission of the hospital.
Responsibilities:
- Assesses, plans, evaluates, and ensures the implementation of the patient's pathway to achieve identified outcomes
- Assumes a leadership role in the provision of quality nursing care for patients receiving services within the nursing department
- Demonstrates continued competence in assessing, treating, and caring for individuals based upon age-specific needs utilizing a developmental perspective
- Demonstrates appropriate knowledge and competence of designated skills identified for position
- Supervises the smooth functioning of the unit on assigned shift
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Current Licensure in the State
- Successful completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support Course.
- CNOR highly preferred
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing BSN required, Master's degree in Nursing/Management preferred.
- 3-5 years previous nursing leadership experience ie OR charge or OR supervisor required
- ASC experience required to be considered for this location
Salary : $220,000 - $230,000
