The role will begin as a temporary full-time postion estimated to last 3–6 months, with the potential to transition into a permanent position based on project needs.

Requirements: Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.

Experience Required: Minimum of 1-2 year(s) experience in customer service and/or general office work. Experience in the auto insurance claims is preferred but not required. Phone experience is mandatory.

Duties:

  • Build rapport with clients, to help ensure the specific needs of our clients are met.
  • Handle an average of 70 incoming calls and live chats from our website from adjusters, vehicle owners, appraisers, and body shops.
  • Assist with open file management, document and communicate updates to clients.
  • Respond promptly to customer needs.
  • Manage difficult or emotional customer situations.
  • Follow up calls whenever commitments are made to the client.
  • Must be able to identify the complaint, offer a resolution, and set an expectation for resolution on complaint calls.
  • Recognize and use judgment in escalating issues to management.
  • Triage new information to the appropriate party/department.
  • Handle emails and faxes in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and maintain reports as needed.

  • Must engage work with a high sense of urgency and detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and multitasking skills
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and friendly demeanor
  • Type a minimum of 35-40 WPM

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
