Owner-Operator Box Truck Driver (26-Foot Box Truck Required)Job Overview
We are seeking experienced and motivated Owner-Operators to join our transportation network. This opportunity is ideal for independent contractors who own and operate a 26-foot box truck and want the flexibility to control their schedule and earnings.
As an Owner-Operator, you will have access to Amazon Relay and will be responsible for booking and managing your own loads. Amazon operates 7 days per week, providing consistent freight opportunities and the ability to maximize your earning potential.
Earning Potential
- 5 days per week typically grosses between $3,000 - $3,500
- 7 days per week typically grosses between $4,000 - $4,500
- Work as much or as little as you choose
- Consistent overnight freight opportunities available
Requirements
- Must own a 26-foot box truck
- Active MC Authority and DOT Authority required
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must have:
- Liftgate
- Pallet jack
- Load straps
- Ability to operate independently and manage load scheduling
Training & Onboarding
All approved Owner-Operators are required to complete Amazon Relay onboarding and operational training.

- Load booking procedures
- Route management
- Compliance requirements
- Best practices for maximizing revenue
Responsibilities
- Book and manage your own loads through Amazon Relay.
- Safely operate your 26-foot box truck in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Complete overnight deliveries on schedule.
- Load and unload freight when required.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain all required documentation and records.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, facilities, and customers.
- Ensure freight is secured and transported safely.
Fees
- Dispatch and administrative fee: 13% of gross revenue
- Owner-Operators retain 87% of gross load revenue
