Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the branch to ensure efficiency, compliance, and superior service delivery. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing and monitoring branch activities and performance
- Opening new accounts and overseeing consumer lending and loan production
- Promoting and cross-selling credit union products and services
- Driving membership growth and community engagement
- Leading, coaching, and developing branch employees
- Supporting staff retention and fostering a productive, team-oriented culture
- Ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborating with the Regional Team and senior leadership to execute strategic initiatives and achieve organizational objectives
The Branch Manager serves as a role model for professionalism, service excellence, and operational integrity.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, preferably in business or a related field
- Prior experience within a credit union or financial institution
- Demonstrated expertise in branch operations, consumer lending, and staff management
- Strong knowledge of financial services policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Proven leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
- A strong commitment to delivering a member-centric service experience
- Familiarity with financial services software and operational systems
