Job Description:
The Director of Surgical Services is responsible for directing the department's activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives. This leadership position ensures the delivery of patient care with the expertise of an experienced Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee 9 OR and 2 Endo Suites in the main hospital and 4 OR and 2 Endo suites at the outpatient surgery center.
- Directly manage 3 Managers, with a total of 60 FTEs in the main hospital and 25 in the Outpatient Surgery.
- Coordinate and manage a total of 4,346 procedures annually (2022).
Requirements
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Certifications: ACLS required upon hire.
- Arizona State Registered RN License.
- 5 years' experience managing 15 OR suites and at least 3 years as a director of OR in a critical care hospital.
Nice-To-Haves:
5 years' experience in upper management in a critical care hospital.
Salary : $125,000 - $155,000
