Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff Head Coach to join our elite coaching staff. This role is dynamic and requires a deep understanding of player development. You will be responsible for leading academy teams.
Full-time role may include additional responsibilities including camps, small groups and/or private lessons.
Whether you are seeking a full-time commitment (preferred) or a robust part-time role, this position offers the opportunity to work alongside former pros and shape the next generation of soccer talent in the Bay Area.
Key Responsibilities
Head Coach of teams.
Year Round Coaching Role if full time. May include working camps and clinics.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience coaching youth soccer, preferably within a highly competitive club, academy, or collegiate environment or driven to learn from the SC staff. (Experience playing or coaching at the professional or collegiate level is a major plus).
- Coaching Philosophy: Strong alignment with SC Pro’s focus on individual technical development, soccer IQ, and detailed coaching.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with players, parents, and fellow coaching staff.
- Reliability: Punctual, organized, and adaptable to the fluid schedule of club soccer and private training.
- Location: Must be local to the San Jose/Saratoga area or willing to commute daily to training locations.
