Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting patient care by assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing excellent patient service. This position is essential in maintaining the efficiency of our pharmacy operations.
4 days a week with alternating Saturdays.
Duties
- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing.
- Provide exceptional patient service by answering inquiries and addressing concerns regarding medications.
- Maintain accurate medication inventory and assist with intake processes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care in acute care settings.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
- Prior experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
