Electrical Engineer

OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to support manufacturing operations, performequipment upgrades, and provide technical support both in-house and in the field. This role is ideal for an engineerwho enjoys working directly with hardware, troubleshooting electromechanical systems, and collaborating closelywith manufacturing, service, and engineering teams.Key Responsibilities Support day-to-day manufacturing operations by troubleshooting and resolving electrical, mechanical, andelectromechanical issues on production equipment. Perform hands-on manufacturing upgrades, retrofits, and continuous improvement projects to improvereliability, safety, and performance. Assemble, wire, modify, and test electrical and mechanical systems, subassemblies, and equipment. Diagnose and repair electronic systems including power supplies, sensors, motors, drives, PLCs, andcontrol panels. Read, interpret, and update electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and bills ofmaterials. Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and design engineering teams to resolve production issues andimplement design improvements. Support equipment installation, commissioning, and validation activities. Provide field service support as needed, including on-site troubleshooting, upgrades, and customer support(travel may be required). Document work performed, including service reports, upgrade instructions, and standard operatingprocedures (SOPs). Ensure all work complies with safety standards, electrical codes, and company procedures.Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field;equivalent hands-on experience will be considered. Strong hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment and electromechanical systems. Working knowledge of electronics, including circuit troubleshooting, wiring, sensors, motors, and controlcomponents. Solid mechanical aptitude, including experience with mechanical assemblies, pneumatics, motors,gearboxes, and alignment. Ability to use standard test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies. Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Willingness and ability to travel for field service work as required.Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems. Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as assembly, test, automation, or production line support. Experience with CAD tools (electrical or mechanical).
