Job Title: Associate Therapist (AMFT, APCC, ACSW)Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMCompensation: $70,000 - $75,000 (depending on experience) Position OverviewOur Facility is seeking a compassionate and skilled Therapist to join our clinical team. The Therapist will provide direct client care, including individual therapy, group facilitation, intakes, and treatment planning, while maintaining compliance with regulatory and clinical standards. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individuals navigating mental health and/or substance use challenges within a supportive and collaborative environment. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide individual therapy, group sessions, family therapy, and psychoeducation as appropriate.Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, intakes, and treatment/discharge planning.Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR system in compliance with state and facility requirements.Develop and update individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs.Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care coordination.Participate in staff meetings, clinical supervision, and ongoing training.Support crisis intervention and risk assessment when needed.Uphold ethical and professional standards consistent with licensure/registration. QualificationsMaster’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field (required).Active California registration or license with the Board of Behavioral Sciences:Associate: AMFT, ACSW, APCCExperience in mental health and/or substance use treatment settings (preferred).Strong group facilitation and clinical documentation skills.Familiarity with EMR systems (KIPU experience a plus).Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
