Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist in the cooking and assembly of food items according to recipes and standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspace at all times
- Assist with food prep tasks including chopping, portioning, and storing ingredients
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety procedures
- Support dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning duties as needed
- Restock kitchen supplies and notify management of low inventory
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient service
Requirements:
- Previous kitchen, food prep, or food service experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented work ethic
- Food handler certification is a plus
